Renaming or Duplicating K2.net Processes and Projects
This article details how to rename or copy an existing process or project.
Introduction | ||
This Knowledge Base article describes a method; for when necessary, to change the name of an existing process or to create a duplicate of an existing process but with a different name. The procedure involves several steps, and before doing this, it is important to understand that there are two names involved. Every process has two names to identify it: |
Initially these are the same, however changing the process name in the process properties will still display the file name in the tab for the process canvas. This may be undesirable for demonstration purposes. Changing the name of the process file will remove the connection to the project, and will not change the name of the process as far as the K2Server is concerned. | |||
