Environment Field appears empty

When trying to utilize an environment field in an application, it is returned empty. This happens via a 'Navigate to an URL 'rule or a link in an email (in a Workflow).Symptoms
This is affecting many users who are unable to pull back the Environment Variable. It shows up as empty.Troubleshooting Steps
To resolve this, navigate to K2 Management.
- Open the Environment Library node and select the Default Environment Template.
- Check if there is any Security enabled for the Template. If there is, I recommend adding the Everyone group and giving them Read Only rights.
Test again, users should now be able to pull back the Environment Fields.
