Email notifications are not sent from SmartForms rule "Send an e-mail"

Email notifications are not sent from the SmartForms rule "Send an e-mail" with the following error found in the Host Server logs:

"Error","MessageBus","61012","ConnectionError","ExchangeWebServicesOrigin","61012 Exception from message source k2svc@[companyname].com: System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.


The 'SourceCode.MessageBus.Ews..." connection strings had an incorrect 'Password' specified.


Troubleshooting Steps

1. Open the ConnectionStringEditor.exe tool located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\K2 blackpearl\Host Server\Bin".

2. For the "SourceCode.MessageBus.Ews..." connection strings, update the 'Password' to the correct value.

3. Save the changes and restart the K2 service for the changes to take effect.
