Nintex Promapp - Publishing a process in Publish Only Mode

How to publish a Nintex Promapp process when your site is in 'Publish only mode'.  
 
'Publish only mode' is the default publishing mechanism, and was previously coupled with the process approvals functionality. To publish a process an editor must specifically click a ‘Publish’ button. This can be done either when saving changes or when viewing the version with unpublished changes.
 
In this mode, the latest publish version of a processes is always be available to viewers. This enables processes changes to be made whilst the current published version remains available to people.
 

Instructions

To enable 'Publish only mode'.
  1. Log in as a Promaster
  2. Navigate to Enable the Setting Publish Only Mode in Admin > Configure > Process Editing
  3. Turn the Publish only mode setting to 'On'. Note: Turning this setting will migrate your processes to the new publishing mode. This requires a new version of the process to be created.
     
To publish a process whilst editing.
  1. Edit a process.
  2. Click the 'Save with comment' option, enter a comment, and click 'Save and publish'.
    Alternatively; click the 'Publish' button after saving your changes.
  3. Or finally; click 'Publish' from the tool bar when viewing an process with outstanding changes.

Additional Information

Version numbers update after saving changes to a process. The major version is updated when the publish button is clicked. The minor version updates after every save.
 
When swapping from 'Normal mode', versions numbers will be incremented as the processes change from one mechanism to the other.  The following will occur:
  • If the process is published e.g. version 1.0, then a new major version will be created.
  • If unpublished e.g. version is 0.2 then a new minor version will be created.
  • If the process has been published but is currently in the 'In Progress' state then the latest version will be published and a minor version created. e.g. the version will go from 1.3 to 2.3.
