How do Minimode links for Published/Unpublished/In Progress Processes work?
An unpublished Process is any Process that has never been published e.g. 0.x versions.
A Minimode link generated for a unpublished Process will show the latest version of the Process up until the time it is published. Once the Process is published the Minimode link will show the last unpublished version prefaced with the word Historical to indicate it is not the latest version of the Process.
A published Process, is any Process that has been published e.g. versions x.0.
A Minimode link generated for a published Process will show the latest Published version of the Process until the Process is eventually archived.
In Progress Processes:
An in progress Process is one that has been previously Published and has some changes saved e.g. versions x.x.
To generate a Minimode link for an in progress Process, a Process Editor should view the in progress version of the Process and then select the Share Process Link option. This link will show the latest in progress version of the Process up until such time as it is published again. Once the Process is published the version number will be prefaced with the word Historical to indicate it is not the most recent version of the Process.
Be aware if you are a Process Editor if you are viewing the in progress version or the published version of the Process when generating a Minimode link for the Process. If you want a link that will show the latest published version for ever you will need to ensure you are viewing the published version of the Process when getting the Minimode link.
You can toggle between the published and in progress Processes by using the View button at the top of the Process.
