NWLResources was not recognised

Hi

This is a new installation of sharepoint2013 and Nintex workflow/forms. The full error messages is

 

Load control template file /_controltemplates/15/NWLOnlineComponents.ascx

failed: The expression prefix 'NWLResources' was not recognized. Please correct

the prefix or register the prefix in the <expressionBuilders> section of

configuration.

 

I am not using Nintex online and have used the command Uninstall-SPFeature NintexWorkflowLiveSite -force and it says the feature is not installed yet I still get this message a number of times a day

 

Does anyone know how I can fix this

Hi Laurie,

 

I have the same exact problem. I contacted Nintex Support and here's what they said:

  • The error you are seeing will occur every time the application pool recycles.
  • The error poses no risk and is just saying that it cannot find Nintex Live components.
  • If you are not using Nintex Live then there is no issue.
  • The only way to stop this error is to install Nintex Live.
