Hey guys,

I am recently started learning the K2 BlackPearl and I am just trying to understand how it's all working.

In the K2 Designer - everything looks very straight forward but in the Visual Studio I got confused.

Where do you create SmartForms in Visual Studio? I read some posts that you have to do it in the browser because you cant create any SmartForms in the VS. If you cant create them in the VS how can you use them then?

In the K2 Designer there are always 4 components: Workflow, View, Form, SmartObject, but in the VS it's only Workflow and SmartObject.

Could anyone explained to me, what am I missing?

Thank you so much!

You can only create smartforms in K2 Designer only (Via web browser). If you want to use your smartforms with Visual Studio, you have to finish smartforms first then you create a workflow in visual studio, then using smartforms integration and smartforms client event to interact with smartforms.

You can look for more detail in K2 University, there are a lot of documents that help.
