How to edit Nintex 2013 approval form without Nintex form?

Hi All,

I am using SP2013 & Nintex Workflow 2013 (not using Nintex Forms).

My requirement: On List display form, there is Approve button. when user click on approve button, they are redirected to Nintex Approve/Reject page. I need to put 1 or 2 or 3 textboxes in the Approve/Reject form based on logged user. Is this feasible without Nintex forms or with Jquery etc.?

Yes, you can use SharePoint's client side rendering to do this.

Do you mean CSOM/JSOM? Can you please elaborate this Jan OR if you have any link that would be helpful?

Sure, have a look at this, Office CSR code samples #9 (Hide Controls) in JavaScript

have you tried InfoPath?

No InfoPath is depreciated in future version of SP, so client already denied it.

Hi Jan, May be I am not able to explain the requirement. I need to hide and show field as per user login in Nintex Approve/Reject form and NOT on List form. E.g. below Nintex approve/reject form. Is this feasbile without Nintex form?

there wont be another version of InfoPath but it supports SP2016,

see this article https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/microsoft_infopath_bloggers/2016/03/01/infopath-is-not-included-in-office-2016/
