Why a List Display Control needs a smartobject with an association bound to it?

Hi

 

I have recently been working on k2 smartforms. I am trying to create a view with a List Display control. This is bound to a smartobject and I have a Rule action tranfer Data  which works on the List method of my bound Smartobject when the view has been initialized.

 

But when I run the view,no data is populated in the List Display.

 

Please advise what I may be missing!!

When you say "List Display COntorl" are you talking about a List View or a Drop Down List?

 

In the case of the drop down list, there should be an action in your rule that "populate list control with data"
