Current limitations will change over time. So keep looking here for a list of what cannot be done until this goes GA.

Is this list being updated?   I only see a couple items addressed.    Is there somewhere to see an ETA on any of these items?

Hi @riveranl

What features are most important to you?

Cheers,
Euan

Hey @EuanGamble ,

We are looking for the multipage ability listed above (conditionally hide pages), the fill-in ability for choice controls, buttons, hyperlinks, and calculated value controls as our top priority since we are using these controls in our current modern forms.

Thanks!

@EuanGamble

I have a list with lots of items that have attachments that are now completely inaccessible that I've published a New Responsive Nintex form.  Is there a workaround to get to these files?

Hi @calmaguer,

This is a known issue we are aware of. Would you mind sending an email to support at support@nintex.com so we can get your details? This will increase the priority.

Thanks,

Euan

Hi Euan,

I am having issue with the New Responsive form regarding the missing calculated value controls, the suggested method of using Label control with Variable does not seem to work for me. The scenario as follows:

I have a SharePoint list lookup control (source = Supplier List) and I wanted to display the lookup value of Contact Person from the list on the form dynamically when I change the selection. I try to create a variable to perform a lookup function and set a label to show the variable but nothing is showing.

Please let me know how I could overcome this.

Thanks,

Gan

Hi @ganww,

I have put together a video explaining how I would solve this.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi Euan,

Thanks for taking the time to come up with this great video. I was not aware the need to use ParseLookup as the old Responsive form does not require that.

It is good to know you have the auto complete feature embedded to the dropdown controls. Nice!

Gan

Is there a way to set a multi-choice field with a default value?

Userlevel 5
Badge +13

Hi @rbachmann,

We currently do not support default value for the 'Choice - Multiple' control and cannot set the value through rules.

I have updated the Current Limitations page. Thanks for your question.

Euan

Can you please add back the ability to use regex when validating a field on the new responsive form designer.  It is one of the dropped features that is keeping me from moving to the new designer.  The text mask is too limited for the validations I am trying to accomplish.

Thanks

Hi @RTK,

We have regex in the backlog but is not scheduled at this time.

Can you share the regex you would like to use and also the use case?

Thanks,

Euan

Hello @EuanGamble ,

The current specific regex I want to use is:  ^[CcPpSsVv]{1}[Pp]{1}[0-9]{9}:[0-9]{2}$

This will ensure the input I get is in the exact format I need for our purchase orders and saves time for our clerks from having to go back to people and get the correct PO number when they miss a digit or pick the wrong type, etc.  I didn't see regex on the list of limitations yet.

Hi @RTK,

Thank you for providing that detail. I have updated the list of limitations.

@EuanGamble

To use the new responsive designer, we really need the hyperlink-control to link internal and external documents in the form. We can't understand why a probably simple control like that (in relation to other controls) is not included yet. Can you please give us an idea when it's planned to implement/publish?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @eveN,

We are wanting to complete the Hyperlink control, but it is dependant on some other work we are currently doing.

To give some background, SharePoint manages complex data in an unusual way. By that I mean the hyperlink stores the hyperlink title and the hyperlink as a string which, behind the scenes looks like "myhyperlink#;https://myhyperlink.com". So when we want to do formulas and rules, the data is not particularly helpful and requires more work. We are working on better ways to deal with this data and making our product easier to use.

I don't have a date, but it is certainly in our plan.

Would a hyperlink in a Text - Long (rich text) control help?

Hi @AnkurAgarawal,

Yes you can filter and use cascading drop downs. I have a video showing this functionality.

Thank you @EuanGamble this is amazing, I missed it somehow.

Badge +2

Hi,

Why is there no option to type in a date ? The only way is to use a "non-intuitive way" of selecting year, month and day. Is this something that is considered ? Is there a work around ?

@nemegeerm1,Could you use a short text field?

Badge +2

@riveranl Yes, ok I understand what you mean. But how do I the store the value in a date column ? I can only connect it to "single line of text" columns.
