ISSUEA workflow set to start on a new record in Dynamics CRM does not start when filling in a new record form. Dynamics CRM forms auto save by default. This means that as you fill in the form, you are making updates when the auto save feature triggers.
RESOLUTIONTurn off auto save. Auto save can be turned off per form, or for the entire organisation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONOther symptoms for confirmation:
- The events history page (beta) will show entity ‘updated’ events instead of ‘created’ events
- Settings in Dynamics CRM show auto save as enabled
