ISSUE
When using Generate Documents on Lightning, the following error might occur: 

Your Salesforce session could not be found or is no longer valid.  
Please ensure that your browser is set to accept third party cookies.

RESOLUTION
Browser Cookie Settings

Chrome

  1. Go to Preferences > Advanced > Content Settings > Cookies
  2. Confirm that “Block third-party cookies” is Disabled

  1. Go to Preferences > Privacy
  2. Confirm that “Website Tracking : Prevent cross-site tracking” is Disabled

Firefox

  1. Go to Preferences > Privacy & Security:
  2. Set Change History  to “Firefox will ‘Use custom settings for history’” >
  3. Make sure that "Accept cookies from websites" is enabled
  4. And confirm that “Accept third-party cookies” is set to Always
