Community Update - March 7th, 2016
This week we get some clarity on one of the more opaque actions in Nintex Workflow, and we have a lot of people taking part in the March mission. Read on to see highlights of what's happening on Nintex Connect!
State Machine Explained
In a delightful bit of coincidence, our new Training space mavens have posted another in their series of videos explaining State Machines....
You can see Secret Agent NinaM (funny how her name is an acronym for Nintex In A Minute. Whodathunk?) in Secret Agent NinaM Ep 3: State Machine Scenario
This one follow up Episode 2, which was also posted since the last weekly update: Secret Agent NinaM Ep 2: Sequential vs State Machine
I don't know where these folks found Agent Nina M., but she's certainly thoroughly explaining this complex action!
Cool Community Content
Nintex Connect member Dean Virag has been a busy beaver on the community in the past week! He's posted no fewer than three blogs!
As a passionate devotee of Nintex products, Dean discusses: Building Awareness for Nintex (or any other software) within Your Company.
Dean is a technical trainer who hates to see software expenditures go to waste, and his passion certainly comes through in his posts. Give it a read!
Once people are aware, Dean considers the principles to guide using the software! In Applying the Gestalt Design Principles to Form Design he introduces the first in what promises to be a series on the subject. Be sure to click the "Follow" link in the upper-right corner of the page!
Last, and certainly not least, Dean offers this blog on Using the Twitter Action . It goes with a companion upload: NintexTwitterAction.pdf Now you know how only HOW to use it, but WHY! Thank you, Dean! we look forward to more!
Nintex Drawloop Document Generation
NIntex's very own Haley Walsh is keeping us up to speed on Nintex Drawloop Document Generation information.
This week, she explains what the Job Queue is and how it works in this blog post: Job Queue... A Hidden Gem
A Nintex Mobile Breakthrough
After attending the InspireX conference, our own Dan Stoll came away with a lot of great feedback. One set of that feedback was around Nintex Mobile and how some customers wish they could make greater use of it. Well in this blog post: Break on through the firewall for Nintex Mobile , Dan explains a couple of ways to get Nintex Mobile in greater use through your business. Do. Not. Miss!
Good news is coming later this week on recordings of the sessions that took place at InspireX! Keep your eyes on my Status announcements! And if you don't follow me, you may want to do that so you don't miss it!
The NIntex Connect community is nothing if not helpful. And after InspireX, I am certain that members are more excited than ever to share knowledge. Here are some questions that may just need YOUR input to find a solution! And remember: If you post a question, and find a solution, be sure to check the "correct answer" button for the reply that did the trick!
Bob Yad is getting this error in his sandbox: DDP Outbound Messaging service has not been enabled for your account. (00Df000000XXXX)
You can find a bevy of these in the Unanswered Questions space!
Have a great week, everyone!
