The most critical point in my daily life is to overview all of my currently running projects. We create status reports periodically but also on request.
It sometimes took me hours to collect data and while looking up, I rather work on the project instead of creating reports about it.
So we had this idea of automating status reports a long time ago.
With Nintex's Document Generation capabilities, we now have the right tool to meet our requirements.
We use SharePoint online to store all (Word-) documents. I have to say, we arranged ourselves in the "on-prem" world.
But in O365 it wasn't that easy so far.
Instead of gathering all information, a simple workflow generates the document now.
And this is how the frontpage looks like:

A bunch of variables, one Switch Action, followed by some more Variables and then the new, shiny Document Generation Action.
Status reports are the most commonly used documents for me as a Projectmanager.
I definitely save a lot of time with Document Generation. Not to forget, I now create a report whenever I want.
Like now, *click*, just created one. Great, isn't it!?
But lots of people out there have to create field reports, don't you!?
So I guess there is a lot of potential.
